Hallowe’en Parade
We will be having our annual Hallowe’en Parade tomorrow. All boys can dress up if they wish. We would ask if possible that the boys bring their costumes in to school and change in the class. However, if this doesn’t suit, they can wear their costume to school. There will be a parade in the hall at 11am and there will be a winner chosen from each class.
This year we are suggesting that every boy who dresses up make a donation of €2 – all money raised will be given to the Burns Unit in Temple Street Hospital. No-one is obliged to bring in the €2 but it would be a nice idea in order to highlight the dangers around bangers and bonfires.
Boys have a full day in school tomorrow and so will be finished at 2.35pm. The school will close for all of next week. School will reopen 8.55am Monday, November 3rd.
We hope everybody has an enjoyable and safe Hallowe’en. Watch out on the website for some of the winning costumes.
