A chairde, Nollaig Shona. . .
Christmas is almost upon us and here in Joey’s we are all getting excited. To add to the international flavour of the holidays the boys in Room 10 made recordings of seasonal greetings in some of the many languages you will hear in Joey’s!!!
If you want to learn how to say “Happy Christmas” in Polish or Romanian or several other languages simply click on the added files and listen up!
Gan dabht is féidir beannachtaí na féile a chloisint as Gaeilge freisin agus is fiú go mór cluas éisteachta a thabhairt go Fionn Baker atá i Seomra a 10 !!!
Next up is Jan from Room 8 !
Brilliant stuff! And remember all the recording and editing was done by the aspiring young sound engineers in Room 10! Next up is Dominico from Room 7 , listen up folks if you want to hear a seasonal greeting in Romanian. . .
Here are some more greetings and pupils wishing us “Happy Holidays” in Somali, Latvian, and Lithuanian. A special thanks to the boys from Miss Dooley’s Class and also to those from Mr. Ryan’s class.
Thanks to Said, we belive that is the very first time a pupil of Joey’s has broadcast in Somali on the school website, and now listen to Markus, an expert in many languages but using his brilliant Latvian here to wish us all a happy Christmas!
Not to be out done is Robertas who has even been teaching some of the teachers in the school Lithuanian!
Sin é . . . From everybody in Room 10, Nollaig Shona!
