On a very wet and cold day last month the 2 fifth classes went to explore the Jeanie Johnston ship. After learning about the Famine in class it was great for the boys to see the conditions that people travelled to America during the famine. The Jeanie Johnston must have been the only “coffin ship” that nobody died on her many journeys across the Atlantic Ocean.
