The boys from Rooms 15 and 16 along with some of our marvellous Joey buddies attended the Bloom Festival in Phoenix Park today.  We got lots of useful information on growing vegetables and designing gardens. We also visited the  Agri-aware farm where we got to speak to some farmers. We also watched the best sheep shearer in Ireland shearing a sheep.  Some of  the boys got to try out the Garda motorbike.  There were lots of beautiful gardens on display and everyone enjoyed the day, despite the rain.

Sixth class visited the National Museum in Kildare Street on Tuesday.

Well done to all the boys from Joey’s who took part in our marble contest today! The boys gave it their all in the early heats and by the end our junior and senior champions were crowned. A massive thank you to our  master of ceremonies, Marble Mark and all the 6th class boys who helped as judges. A great day had by all!
