Sixth class are having a cake sale on Friday 13th February (Unlucky for some but lucky for you when you try some of our delicious cakes!!).  We are trying to raise money to help repair the leak in the hall. Get baking & watch this space for more details next week!!

Boys from 5th and 6th class had a treat today when Barbara and Shane from the Abbey Theatre gave a workshop on a play called ‘Me Michael’.

Top Story

The buddies will be having Milono’s pizza sometime soon, in reward for their great work. They help in the yard if any boy needs help finding a friend, or if some one is injured they make sure the boy gets to sick bay. The new rewards system is working very well because all the boys are trying very hard. Mary Collins has started One Book One book One Community for 6th class , they are reading The Blue Horse by Marita Conlon-McKenna.

Sport

Hurling Thursday after school with Mr Crummey, Will and Mr Crotty are doing well with football training so far

Football training. 2:30pm – 3:30pm

Hurling 2:30pm – 3:45pm

Judo 2:30pm – 3:30pm

Book club 12:30pm – 1:00pm

As a reward for their hard work patrolling the yard during break times, the Joeys buddies were treated to pizza, drinks and some time out this evening. Thanks for all your hard work lads and keep it up in 2015!!
