One Book One Community

At the opening ceremony...

At the opening ceremony…

The morning of the opening ceremony for the one book one community project was cold and snowy.

But the boys from Joey’s and one boy in particular, showed great composure, a generosity of spirit and a warm heart.

This is what happened.

A boy, who is in 1st year in the secondary school, was going to do a reading about the project.

He was absent.

Darragh from sixth class stood in to read the report.

He was word perfect and received a huge round of applause from everyone present.

What a lovely memory for Darragh.
