First Joeys Blues News Bulletin for 2015
Top story
It was a great day for Joeys when the principal came back after being out sick. We asked Ms Fitzpatrick what was the best thing she had seen since she came back. She said when she went out to yard and saw all the boys lined up perfectly after break times, she was amazed. (Please see interview with Ms. Fitzpatrick further in the bulletin)
Sport
Soccer trials started up last week and continue next week. Hopefully soccer will start soon after. Hurling training will begin again in a couple of weeks. Watch this space for hurling up dates!!
Note
Warning watch where you are running in the yard. Little kids are trying to play!!
Interview with Ms. Fitzpatrick
The following is an interview we did with Ms. Fitzpatrick:
Ms. Fitzpatrick has been a teacher for thirty years. She is principal for a year and a half. Her last school was St. Bridgets and she wanted to work in Joey’s for years because it was such a good school. Ms. Fitzpatrick hired Ms. Wogan, Mr. Crummy and Mr. Darmody. She never felt so happy coming back to all the boys and she is proud of all the children. The first class Ms. taught was sixth class. Ms.Fitzpatrick is concentrating on good learning. She was delighted when she came back and heard all the great news and hard work the boys had been doing. Ms. Fitzpatrick would like to thank Ms. Stewart for the great job she did running the school. She is hoping to make a room for boys to go and and read books in. When we asked Ms. Fitzpatrick what class she would like to teach she said she couldn’t choose because there were beautiful and patient boys in every class. The Joeys Blues News team told Ms. Fitzpatrick how they and all the pupils missed Fitzpatrick while she was out.
