Conker Competition

In 3 weeks time there is going to be a big event happening in Joeys.

The Great Joeys Conkers Competition will be happening in the third week of October. We are not sure of the exact day because Ms Stewart has to check the weather forecast to make sure the day is dry.

So start gathering your conkers and practise like crazy.

Joey’s Gaelic Football

The Joey’s gaelic team is off to a great start after beating St Ciaran’s Donnycarney, St Kevin’s, Finglas, and Virgin Mary, Ballymun. The team played very well. Adam pulled us back with 3 three goals in the last game. Oran saved us with a great catch and was named Best Catch Of The Season.

The next match is against St Joseph’s, Ballymun today (Tuesday) at 3pm in Fairview Park.

Basketball

Kelvin has been through a lot with this school. He taught us skills, tells us stories and shared his talent with us. He is an ex-pro basketball player. He always keeps our spirits high. All my class looks forward to Thursday because that’s the day he comes and teaches us some basketball.
